Raistlin

Have you read the Dragonlance saga? Do you remember Raistlin the wizard? Who received hourglass-shaped eyes as a punishment? His eyes became able to see people and things as they would have been in the future. It didn't matter how much beautiful a thing was he saw it decaying and falling in pieces in front of his eyes. Sentenced to see no more the beauty of this world. Just when he met Laurana, the young elf princesses with an immensely long lifespan in front of her, Raistlin's eyes didn't see her body decaying and he could enjoy the beauty without watching the corruption.
Here, I'm like Raistlin. I've been sentenced to have eyes seeing what shouldn't be seen. It doesn't matter what I have in front of me I see its flaws and defects, the corruption behind the facade, its ruin. It's just when I watch you that that doesn't happen. It doesn't matter what you've done, doesn't matter if it's something I believe wrong or bad. When I look at you I can see beyond flaws and defects and see the beauty which is in you.
