Erasing Christmas

No. Il Natale non e' mai successo.

A coming back to work in grand style the 2nd of January, even if it was a bank holiday: meeting at the yard at 6:15, alarm set at 4:30 and sleepless night, probably due to the excitement for going to take down the Christmas Trees that we had supplied to our clients. Coloured balls, lights and bows went back into their boxes, the already dead trees got chopped and into the back of our vans. Working into overheated office buildings, as hot as we were at the Tropics and that made me dizzy. Only one positive note: we erased the Christmas. It never happened. We were like Cleaners in a spy story: the body have been destroyed with acid, any evidence removed. There are no proofs anymore. "But it was Christmas a few days ago! I can remember it!" No. Christmas never happened. There's never been a day when everyone was a better person. It's just a figment of your distressed mind. And if you keep insisting with that fancy we are going to call the shrink.
