Wrong

You told me that I made you feeling wrong. I didn't make you feeling wrong. You are wrong. You become wrong in the very moment you think that there's something wrong in receiving attentions. Maybe because you don't know how to reciprocate. But it's not your fault. It's that they drew you so. Incapable to associate happiness with receiving attentions. One day, maybe, you'll push beyond this limit, you will learn what nobody taught to you, and then everything will change. You will never feel wrong again. I really envy the man who will be on your side that day.

Sbagliata

Mi hai detto che ti facevo sentire sbagliata. Io non ti facevo sentire sbagliata. Tu sei sbagliata.

The beautiful things don't last

The beautiful things don't last, wrote somebody answering to a comment of mine on Facebook. And it is true, very true: the beautiful things don't last. They don't last because someone decides that they mustn't last. They don't last because it's easier to throw away than fix. They don't last because we refuse the effort of change ourselves. They don't last because we don't speak to each other. They don't last because we don't want to give in anything and we prefer to lose everything. They don't last because, all in all, no one has taught us how to love, than we don't know how to love what we have: we are not able to love our things, our places, and the persons in our life.

The twisted Labyrinth

The Labyrinth, once trial and challenge, a journey to complete, has been changed in a prison, has begun a place that one wants to flee but is not allowed to. For only who is happy can leave the Labyrinth, but only who is outside of the Labyrinth can be happy.

To be yourself is all that you can do

Someone finds salvation in everyone
And another only pain

The trouble is when you find both in everyone...

"Be Yourself"

Someone falls to pieces
Sleeping all alone
Someone kills the pain
Spinning in the silence
To finally drift away
Someone gets excited
In a chapel yard
Catches a bouquet
Another lays a dozen
White roses on a grave

To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

Someone finds salvation in everyone
And another only pain
Someone tries to hide himself
Down inside himself he prays
Someone swears his true love
Until the end of time
Another runs away
Separate or united?
Healthy or insane?

To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

And even when you've paid enough, been pulled apart or been held up
With every single memory of the good or bad faces of luck
don't lose any sleep tonight
I'm sure everything will end up alright

You may win or lose

But to be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

Autumn

by Walter de la Mare
There is wind where the rose was;
Cold rain where sweet grass was;
And clouds like sheep
Stream o'er the steep
Grey skies where the lark was.

Nought gold where your hair was;
Nought warm where you hand was;
But phantom, forlorn,
Beneath the thorn,
Your ghost where your face was.

Sad winds where your voice was;
Tears, tears where my heart was;
And ever with me,
Child, ever with me,
Silence where hope was.

Ghosts 2

Nought gold where your hair was;
Nought warm where your hand was;
But phantom, forlorn,
Beneath the thorn,
Your ghost where your face was.

(Autumn, Walter de la Mare)

They slip close in the dark, stroke you in the loneliness, and whisper to you in the silence. They are the ghosts of your blessed days, the ghosts of your happy moments. So hard to chase away, impossible to forget. They are the memory of people who were dear once but that are just regret now; those people who we wanted to hold with us and that we cannot admit they didn't deserve it. They remind us of our own mistakes but are not able to persuade us that we lost them for that reason. They are a sweet memory turning bitter every day we spend thinking of them. They are the ideal we used to love, they used to be the ideal we love. They are the ghost of the woman who loved us so much to forsake everything else, to end up hating such a sacrifice incarnated now in our flesh. They are the ghost of that girl who fell deeply in love with us but never really loved us, for she loved already something else and there was no room left in her heart. They are the ghosts of people special to us who quit because, in the end, we weren't so special to them.

Fantasmi 2

Niente oro dove erano i tuoi capelli;
Niente calore dove stava la tua mano;

You keep repeating that first of all we must learn how to be happy on our own to be able of being happy with another person, that we must seek happiness inside ourselves and not in another person. And maybe it's true, but just because you've made it true. It's useless seeking happiness in somebody else but ourselves because that person will leave to seek happiness in herself. You are so certain that this is an absolute truth that you impose it even to who doesn't believe in it. And I don't believe in it. I can pick seashells and corals up along the seashore, but if I don't make a necklace of them to give to my loved one what's the meaning of collecting them? It would be just an incomplete act. For all that is beautiful, and all that is good, have been made to share. And if what you utter is actually true, why than do I see so much loneliness, unsatisfaction and sadness all around me?

-Buongiorno, Cristophe-, saluto' Anansi.
-Buongiorno, a Voi-, rispose educatamente Cristophe. -A cosa devo l'onore della vostra visita?
Cristophe annui' nuovamente e riprese a lavorare. Questa volta senza piu' proferire parola.

Deja vu

E' come vivere piu' vite. E' come morire piu' volte.

It's like living multiple lives. And in each life you have a woman to love and lose. It's like to die again and again. And through each death to born again just to be sentenced one more time.

He hasn't got no sorrow

They had not gone far before they saw the Mock Turtle in the distance, sitting sad and lonely on a little ledge of rock, and, as they came nearer, Alice could hear him sighing as if his heart would break. She pitied him deeply. 'What is his sorrow?' she asked the Gryphon, and the Gryphon answered, very nearly in the same words as before, 'It's all his fancy, that: he hasn't got no sorrow, you know. Come on!'

Immagini

I browse photos and pictures I've published on my blog and, in them, I read a rush of emotions: anger, wonder, curiosity, sweetness, demoralisation, delusion, sadness and a feeling of inevitability. But often, more often than I expected, those images bring back to my mind and my heart moments of happiness and peace. Maybe they were short, but they are there, inserted like pearls in a necklace of inutility. And those memories are the majority. And it's ironic that to be incapable of being happy I've been blamed so often of. So often, to be honest, that at the end I began to believe it too. Because I didn't laugh like you laugh, because I saw the life with different eyes than yours.

Misogyny 6

The innate ability belongs to the woman, which often is unconsciously carried out, to make her partner believe that his is the fault for any unsatisfaction she's tormented by. And even when she's the origin of the unsatisfactions, fears and doubts gripping the man, she is able to make him believe that he is the cause and that the cause is in him, persuading him to feel guilty a take all the responsibilities. It needs time and physical distance for the man to realise what's the right perspective of things and put all the pieces in the right place, freeing himself of the guilt, but burdening himself with a sense of impotence.
