The end? What end?!

We are at the end of the year, an arbitrary line drawn to mark the tropical year, called solar year as well, that is the time the Sun takes to return in the same position in the cycle of seasons, as seen from Earth. Which time is different in length on the basis of the day you start to calculate it. And which is not even the same time that Earth takes to complete a revolution around the Sun. And that is not synchronized with the Gregorian calendar, which doesn't correspond with the Julian calendar, still in use in some areas of the world like Maghreb and still used by the Orthodox Church to calculate Eastern. The end of the year does not correspond to any solar cycle, nor to a lunar cycle or a season. It doesn't correspond to any change in the soil, nor in what has its roots in it. So, exactly what does it finish at Midnight of 31 of December? Nothing. But our mobile phones will show a different year from tomorrow. This blog will stop listing my posts under the year 2015 and will sum the viewings up and will change its graphics and will start a new list under a new number, it also established arbitrarily in the past. If it was some years ago you, at home, would have hanged calendars on the wall or on the fridge, turning the pages or tearing them, maybe reading the daily quotes. But I think nobody still has such calendars. However, at which day of January you usually stopped to change the page and then you needed your mobile to update the right day tearing off dozens of pages?
Anyway, somebody has established that the year comes to an end today, then it finishes. A kind of logical axioms, or maybe a non-logical axiom? I donno. And it doesn't really matter, in the end (talking of an end, indeed). We are at the end, just accept it. And since this is an End, a Beginning waits for us immediately after it. A Beginning which won't bring any substantial change that wouldn't happen on any other day of the year. But we must accept it to live in this society. And something else we accept without questioning it is that we have to wish a Happy New Year, a New Beginning. And even if I still wonder of what kind of New Beginning we are talking about, since as we have seen there is not really an End, I too give you my wishes:

I WISH YOU THAT THE NEW YEAR
WILL NOT BRING YOU WHAT YOU WANT,
BUT BRING INSTEAD WHAT YOU NEED.
BEST WISHES BY BISANZIO.

Underwear

I went to Primark this morning, to buy some pants. Apparently the medium size pants for men is the most stolen item in East Ham, since I was not able to find two whole packages of the same brand. Once back home I realized the size was wrong, so in the afternoon I went back to the shop. I approached a member of the staff, a young Indian woman.
-Excuse me-, I said.

-Hello!- she answered with a smile. -How can I help you?
-I need to change this underwear.
-Uh...? Why?
The temptation was too strong, so I said: -The size is small. I'm too well endowed.
She took a moment to understand, then a coquettish smile appeared on her face.
-That's interesting-, she said.
Pretending to not understand I said: -Sorry..? Ehr... Oh! I'm gay, sorry.
Her smile disappeared. -Really?
Then was my turn to smile. -I'm kidding!
-Ah!- she exclaimed. -You aren't gay.
-I'm not well endowed.
Her puzzled expression, the deep confusion she fell in was better than a shag.

Ma Kafka era inglese? (parte seconda)

Ma parlano inglese o no? Devo richiamare CSCS. Comincio a preoccuparmi.

Accomodatevi.

Misogyny 4

Every woman wants to be considered special by her man, for in the heart of her heart she believes to be so. The truth is there are very few special women out there. And the man who had the fortune, or the misfortune, to have such a woman, will find all the other women tasteless. Or the taste will disappear as soon as the newness will be consumed. Still remain that physiologic desire, the necessity of a skin to skin contact, the innate lust of the male, placing the man in a condition of inferiority to the woman who doesn't prevail due to her own innate deficiency. And I don't know if to laugh or to cry at the thought of this new gender philosophy, which wants all of us alike and indiscernible, nor male nor female, which will come to steal that little power women have on men. But all in all, it's exactly what you women want. Or that somebody let you believe you want. Amen.

Let Me Bring You Down: Christmas...OMG!

Misoginia 4

Amen.

Lost souls

The salt in the sea heals wounds quickly
Only rum and tobacco are solace and source
After all the battles that we lost
we have every time faithfulness sworn anew
Faith alone guides us,
our Gods that no one can take from us
accompany us on the long journey
and never would have saved the confession until the end
When the sun at the horizon sinks into the afterglow
we dream of a land which does not drown in the blood
The stars high in the sky seem to us close enough to grasp
We are lost souls, however we are there for each other
Silent witnesses in the candlelight
are all the scars, like maps on the face
proud and dignified they should convey
the reminder of good times and bad even through a thousand years
For good wind and a rich catch
we lift the jug and toast on it
that no lead tears the old bow to pieces
and we hope, that no one opposes our will
                         * * * * * * * * * *

Live!

Listen to the creaking in the dark, while you lay in your bed hiding under the sheets. It's your fears coming to keep company to you. They crawl out of the corners of your mind, they stalk boldly in front of you, they gather all around you. It's you who makes them strong, you are their mother and they are attached to you. That's because you refused to walk in the sunlight, 'cause you said no to live openly your emotions and even more your sentiments. What other people think has been the hindrance which blocked you: may it be how they judge you or how you judge them, you got the same result. Live your joy, before the years will steal it from you, and don't care who can't understand. All in all, what are they to you?

Teoria Gender - Dimmi con chi vai...

...e ti diro' chi sei.

(Theodore Dalrymple)

The Big Fraud of Gender Theory - Show me your friends...

...and I tell you who you are.

Ask supporters of Gender Theory if they know where the theory itself has its roots. I strongly doubt they have a clue. For you need to go back to 1935 when Alfred Kinsey delivered a lecture at Indiana University wherein he asserted that sex had no boundaries, all legal prohibition or social restraint are arbitrary and artificial and therefore morally untenable: for only differences in nature could be legitimately recognized by legal and social taboos. In the lecture he attacked the "widespread ignorance of sexual structure and physiology" and promoted his view that "delayed marriage" (that is, delayed sexual experience) is psychologically harmful. Soon the sexual revolutionaries made of Kinsey their standard bearer and he obtained research funding from the Rockefeller Foundation, publishing Sexual Behaviour in Human Male in 1948, followed in 1953 by Sexual Behaviour in Human Female. Both publications became best-seller and later known as Kinsey Report.
Kinsey's program aimed to free people of the sexual restraint that he considered the cause of all their miseries. First, by means of "extensive surveys", he established that the sexual behaviour of Americans was very different from what it was supposed to be according to traditional morality, stating that 37% of American males had had homosexual experiences leading to orgasm. Then that all forms of sexuality lie on a spectrum rather than existing as separate. Therefore, he said, our sexual morality must be based not upon a striving towards goodness, towards an ideal, but upon what actually happens here and now. Otherwise we are merely chasing chimeras. That is, all sexual activities are equal. Heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, paedophilia, necrophilia, incest: all of them are equal.
Kinsey's research is controversial in the scientific communities. Interviews were made with volunteers, which were not representative of the general population, he focused on homosexuality three times more than on heterosexuality and presented data about men who had had experience with children like collected from many different sources when instead all of them came from a single paedophile. Practically he skewed his survey.
But who was Alfred Kinsey? What kind of man was he? He was bisexual, he and his wife agreed that both could sleep with other people as well as with each other, and he himself slept with other men, including a student of his. During his research he encouraged his staff to engaged in a wide range of sexual activities, as being necessary to gain the confidence of his research subjects. He filmed 2000 men masturbating to ejaculation, ostensibly to discover how far the could project their semen, and his collection of sexual material from all around the world, including material about children, brought him to the attention of US Customs when they sized some pornographic films on 1956, but he died before this matter was resolved legally. And last but not least, since a young man, he used to insert objects into his urethra: initially drinking straws, before moving on pipe cleaners, pencils and finally toothbrushes, allegedly to punish himself for having homoerotic feelings, which would have been rather in contrast with the aim of his life work and believes. Inserting toothbrushes continued throughout his all adult life, and when he became accustomed to the pain of urethral insertions he circumcised himself without anaesthesia.
I wouldn't be surprise to find out that Kinsey used the same toothbrush for urethral insertions and for brushing his teeth.

The second pillar of gender theory, as unknown to its supporters as Kinsley is, was John Money, a psychologist and sexologist, who introduced most of the terms used nowadays talking about gender and who asserted that gender comes as an imposition of society. Money became, needless to say, a hero of radical feminists who wished to claim that female "sex roles" had been imposed upon women arbitrarily by society. He is also and most of all famous for asserting the plasticity of what he had termed "gender identity" and the possibility for men and women to swap between genders and sex and what's in between. His fame came from the case of David Reimer, a boy whose penis had been partially removed during a botched circumcision. Money convinced David's parents that removing totally what remained of the penis and bringing the boy up as a girl would have put everything right. "For what is a boy but a girl who are given gun toys to play with?" For many years the case was described as an unqualified success, fooling for long time the scientific and journalist world and hiding the psychological troubles the boy/girl grew up with, ended with his suicide. As many other similar cases tried or accomplished with.
Money was a self-proclaimed "missionary of sex", who advocated all sex, all the time. He was critical on debates on sexual perversion/deviation. Especially on paedophilia he asserted that it was not a behavioural disorder and that only those in a state of "moralistic ignorance would condemn it". Rather, he took the position that heterosexuality is another example of societal and therefore a superficial, ideological concept.

What is left but personal whim in the determination of sexual conduct? The work of dissolving the boundaries continues, never satisfied that it has gone quite too far enough - as if to accept one limitation or taboo would be to admit the legitimacy of all.

What do you do in life?

What do you do in life?

I tame lionesses. Whilst I wait for a woman capable to leash me.

Is it so hard?

To be honest, I don't think so. But who made it frightened at what she had caught.

And what's so frightful in you? You look a rather normal man to me.

I donno. But women blamed me for so many different things. Like that I'm never satisfied and to give them performance anxiety...

If you were mine...

...I'd bring you so much further down
And twist your mind until the end of time

If you were here
I'd whisper sweet nothings in your ear
And appeal to all your fears
If you were mine *If you were only mine*
I'd bring you so much further down
And twist your mind until the end of time

You will never realize
What darkness lies inside
inside my mind

If you are down
I will come to chain you to the ground
And penetrate your mind.
If you are lost *if only you are lost*
I'll be there to break your trust
And ravage all your lust for life, my love

You will never realize
What darkness lies inside
inside my mind.

You will never realize
What darkness lies inside
inside my mind.

You will never realize
What darkness lies inside
inside my mind.

Guilty

Guilty, isn't? Is this your judgement? You have judged me guilty, all of you. And you have judged me in contumacy. You probably didn't even waste time in a show trial, so predictable the outcome was. Even without agreeing upon the verdict, you have all taken the same decision. Which my guilt exactly is I still don't know, if I had a way to put thing right you refused to tell me. But I bear Cain's stigma, that you branded on me, not on my forehead but on my heart. And whichever circumstance will happen, whichever decision will be taken, is a direct consequence of my fault because in your judgement it must be so. Not even your love can shelter me from your sentence. And being you not able to stare in my eyes, you leave me alone to watch after myself and face the punishment.
                                                         All of you...

Colpevole

Colpevole, vero? E' questo il vostro giudizio? Mi avete giudicato colpevole, tutti voi. E mi avete giudicato in contumacia. Dal primo all'ultimo...

London the Greed

Vince Cable said that London is “a giant suction machine draining the life out of the rest of the country”. Simon Jenkins,in an article on The Guardian lists some of the greedy as well useless project London benefited herself, from the crazy and unsustainable Garden Bridge over the Thames (£ 100mil and rising), the new West Ham Football Team's ground (well above £ 700mil), or the absurd ideas of a "Bicycle Highway" and of a "Floating Cycle Lane". Not last nor least the CrossRail 1 and 2 projects, respectively 15 and 27 billions of pounds, which only purpose is to move working people out of the city and let them crawling every day along the tunnel till their jobs.  Forget the idea that money are given to London because London can create jobs and so make more money. London is creating jobs because she's receiving money. Depriving the rest of the country of investments and infrastructures London drains life from the other regions, forcing people to move to London (busting the house market), keeping the rest of the Country into the impossibility to produce what it needs (making it a perfect market for goods produced in or imported through London). Any investment is finalized to benefit a specific economic aristocracy whose interests are set in London.
To find out how much UK is London-centric just open Google Maps. Select Milton Keynes, in Buckinghamshire. It's a not unimportant centre, it's Red Bull F1 Team's headquarters, which position is roughly midway between Oxford and Cambridge, two other centres not lacking in importance. The last one is at the vertex of an isosceles triangle, with Oxford and London at the two ends of the triangle's base. Now check the directions between all these centres using public transports. Milton Keynes-Oxford (less than 30 miles) requires an hour and 35 minutes via bus (you need to change coach, in Bedford I think, since there's no direct link) or even 2 hours via train, since you need to head off North till Coventry and then going South again. Milton Keynes-Cambridge (not even 40 miles) requires more than 1 hour and an half, since there's no direct link at all and you need to travel down to London town and then up again to Cambridge. The same if you want to travel from Oxford to Cambridge or vice versa (roughly 66 miles): down to London and then up again Northwards in a journey which will take 2 hours and an half roughly. The other way round through Birmingham is not to mention at all, taking the double of the time. Instead, travelling to London from any of these towns will not take an hour in all. I think this picture of the UK Railways network, shaped like the spokes of a bicycle's wheel with the Capital city as its fulcrum, explains clearly why you need so much time to move between cities different than London and what Vince Cable and Simon Jenkins mean when talking about London.

I'm gonna make it rain, so ring the bell

Be a fighter, backbone, desire
Complicated and it stings, but we both know what it means
And it's time to get real and inspired
Cause agony brings no reward
Don't be a casualty

Cut the cord

(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom, follow me)
(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom) Cut it!
(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom, follow me)
(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom)

Let me tell you, I'm vicious
Not pass-aggressive
I got my finger on my pulse, staring straight into a hole and I get it
And I'm a savage
It's automatic
I got a way of making noise, the power to destroy with no static

Cause victory is all you need
So cultivate and plant the seed
Hold your breath and count to ten, just count to ten

I'm gonna make it rain, so ring the bell
I know it all too well
Switchblade on the edge of your wrist
Can I get a witness? (Witness)
Cause agony brings no reward
For one more hit and one last score
Don't be a casualty, cut the cord

(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom, follow me) Cut the cord
(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom)

You gotta feel courage
Embrace possession
If it was easier to shatter everything that ever mattered
But it's not, because it's your obsession
Be a fighter, backbone, desire
Complicated and it stings, but we both know what it means
And it's time to get real and inspired

Cause victory is all you need
So cultivate and plant the seed
Hold your breath and count to ten, just count to ten, just count to ten

I'm gonna make it rain, so ring the bell
I know it all too well
Switchblade on the edge of your wrist
Can I get a witness? (Witness)
Cause agony brings no reward
For one more hit and one last score
Don't be a casualty, cut the cord

Cut it
Cut it

Cause victory is all you need
So cultivate and plant the seed
Hold your breath and count to ten, just count to ten

I'm gonna make it rain, so ring the bell
I know it all too well
Switchblade on the edge of your wrist
Can I get a witness? (Witness)
Cause agony brings no reward
For one more hit and one last score
Don't be a casualty, cut the cord
Don't be a casualty, cut the cord

(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom, follow me) Cut the cord
(Freedom, la la la la)
(Freedom, follow me, me, me)

Summer was as cold as Winter Solstice,
you morons!!!

I thought my demons were my friends

Sweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I have heard
Sing along mocking bird
You don't affect me

"Coming Undone"
Keep holding on
When my brain's tickin' like a bomb
Guess the black thoughts have come Again to get me
Sweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I have heard
Sing along mocking bird
You don't affect me

That's right
Deliverance of my heart
Please strike
Be deliberate

[Chorus]
Wait
I'm coming undone
Irate
I'm coming undone
Too late
I'm coming undone
One looks so strong
So delicate
Wait
I'm starting to suffocate
And soon I anticipate
I'm coming undone
One looks so strong
So delicate

Choke choke again
I thought my demons were my friends
Getting me in the end
They're out to get me
Since I was young
I've tasted sorrow on my tongue
And this sweet sugar gun
Does not protect me

That's right
Trigger between my eyes
Please strike
Make it quick now

[Chorus]

I'm trying to hold it together
Head is lighter than a feather
Looks like I'm not getting better
Not getting better

[Chorus]

Vivi!

I'm dead already

Opening his way through the Doors of Iron
Defeating the Guardians of the Wall of Shadows
Walking beyond the Well of Blood
Come is the Warrior of the Dreams, the warrior-monk
To face the Black Throne, upon which seated
the Lord of Sorrow is.
Red of blood the sword is, pitch black the castle hall is.
Lone witness is the Moon-pouring her light
at the feet of the contenders.
>>I'm the Warrior of the Dreams, the warrior-monk
I'm an ideal, and you're dead already. I don't need to slaughter you.<<
The blade is back into the sheath
Never again it will be unsheathed
for an idea is stronger than any army.
The warrior-monk seats down, crosses his legs and rests.
You don't fear who's already dead.
The Lord of Pain can nothing
For nobody can stop an idea.

With three steps he closes in on his target. But the blade is sheathed and the moon's rays flicker briefly on its edge and then disappear. The shadow on the throne doesn't relax, neither tenses. In the moonlight pouring through the skylight, both the figures are shadows blending in the darkness, the one seated upon the throne, the other one standing in front of it. Both still. The darkness hides the ends of the hall. A last movement in the darkness, a death rattle, then the silence again.
Leaning out towards the warrior, the seated shadow scrapes the darkness with his voice: -In the end, the Warrior of Dreams has entered my hall.- A hint of amusement gives a threatening sound to the voice.
-Not the Warrior of Dreams is in front of you, but the warrior-monk.
-Warrior of Dreams... warrior-monk... it doesn't matter.- An almost bothered tone. -I can kill you before you will be able to move a single step.
-You can't kill me, for I'm already dead.
A short silence, then the voice scratched the gloom again, marked with anger. -I can annihilate your body, I can fill it with so much pain that your mind will shatter into thousands of shards. So many that you will not able to recompose it. You have no chance to kill me!
-I'm not here to kill you. I'm here to defeat you. And this I've already done, without the need of killing you.
-And tell me,- the shadow asks amused, -how would you overthrow me from this throne?
-You haven't realized it yet, but the process has begun. Many have seen me come here; at this very moment, there are who see that I'm standing in front of you. The challenge has been launched and you couldn't tackle it. Kill my body, but you will not stop me. For I'm not this body, but an ideal. If you kill my body, many more will pick this idea up. Many already know that you are not unreachable, that you're not untouchable, and the word will travel fast.
"You've already been defeated, even if you don't accept it.
A whisper, almost a grunt. The figure upon the throne lays back against seat-back.
-Killing you-, he ponders in the dark, -I would make a martyr of you, and men would gather beneath your flag. But I can lock you up and show you off as a trophy, and the men will pity your weakness.
-They have seen that I am close enough to strike and that I have decided of not doing it. Imprison me, and everybody will think that I let you do it. Imprison this body, but you will not be able to mortify me with pain or fear, for being already dead there's nothing I fear to lose. Lock me up and you will achieve nothing, for you can't prevent to an idea to run free.
The silence falls one more time in the hall and stretched through the darkness. The two shadows, the one seated the other standing, face each other still. A stream of blood, slowly, flows from the darkness in the moonlight. The only proof of a mortal contest recently come to an end.
-Join my service-, the seated shadow whispers. -You will have power above all other men in this Empire. You'll need only to point out what you desire to have it: a human being, object or animal. You'll have anything you wish for what is between the Skyrim and the deeper Underworld. I'll give you immortality and men will worship you as a God!
-You have nothing that a dead man would desire.
-You can't hit me! You have never had the chance to strike the final blow!
With a slow and fluid movement, without moving the arms but just folding his own legs, the warrior-monk seats down. Crossing his legs he stays still in front of the Iron Throne. -I killed you already. I killed the fear grasping the heart of the men forcing them to obey you. I set them free, for now, they know that they can challenge you. And what can be challenged can be defeated too. They will fear death no more, for my ideal is into them now. They will not be your slaves again, for they were slaves of the fear and I killed the fear. they were enslaved to a simple word. Killing such a word I killed you.
The two figure are completely still once more: the one high upon the throne, the other one seated on the ground. Again the darkness is silent. The stream of blood, black in the moonlight. has stopped flowing.
