It's on my head 2

Normally people have the tendency to forget unpleasant things happened to them in the past. They are totally canceled, completely removed. Or better said, they are pushed deeply into the memory pit, are sent into the gloom, where our mind's eyes can't see them. And so we can't remember them. All this in the attempt to make life more pleasant.

Solitary places, the silence are often avoided, because they are introspective situations which could allow the mind to see, or maybe to glimpse what we don't want being seen. Even just to perceive that over there, in that dark zone where we never go, there is something generates angst.

On my job I'm often alone, in silence, working on tasks that don't need the use of brain's cognitive part. So this part is free to wander, is free to drag up from the bog of my recollections. It's like if everything would work reverse to me. If I want to remember something beautiful, a pleasant event from my past, I have to dig it up, I struggle to remind it. Insteed, all the cases whic are unpleasant, sad, painful, humiliating, depressive show themselve in their own. They parade in a long chain, mixed in a jumble; unstoppable, inescapable. In the same way, if my mind thinks autonomously on a random issue, they are inevitably those ones which make me sad or which make me angry.

Ehy bambina! Torna presto, mi servi tu. L'insanità mi chiama e solo tu puoi trattenermi.

Sometimes it comes to me that something is broken inside my head, that I would need the help of a specialist. I say to myself, "Why don't you go to a psychiatrist?". But then the voices tel me that it doesn't matter, that everything's ok.
Ehy baby! Come back to me, I need you. Insanity is calling me. And just you can hold me.
